Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association ousts Farooq Abdullah as president

The Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) on Monday voted out former chief minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah as its president. Manzoor Wazir of the Kashmir Gymkhana cricket club said that of the 64 cricket clubs in the state affiliated to the JKCA, 42 took part in internal elections.
