Days ahead of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government's one-year anniversary, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said the BJP Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has become central pole of the Indian politics. In an apparent attack at Congress leadership creating a separate power centre during UPA, Jaitley told the media that the government has managed to restore credibility, dignity and stature of the Prime Minister's Office during its one-year rule and the last word now rests with the Prime Minister. Addressing a press conference to mark the first anniversary of BJP-led government, Jaitley asserted that the national polity will now be guided along pro-BJP and anti-BJP lines.
