Preity Zinta: Not seeking cheap publicity from the case

Early Wednesday morning, Preity Zinta left an emotional message on Facebook clarifying her stand on the Ness Wadia molestation case.

In the message, the owner of Kings XI Punjab expressed her gratitude for the people who stood by her, while at the same time expressed her surprise over reactions of some of the people.

She attacked the remarks accusing her of reporting a 'personal matter' to the police. "For the record this relationship was ended by me in 2009 and i don't ever recall having gone to the police on any personal matter irrespective of what happened then", she wrote.

She also derided the accusations that she filed the complaint in lieu of money. She revealed that not only did she pay her share of the money but she also paid Wadia's share which was returned to her, albeit without any premium.
