PM Narendra Modi resigns from Vadodra as MP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Thursday tender his resignation as the MP from Vadodara Lok Sabha constituency, which he won by a massive margin of 570,128 votes.
Modi also won from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, which was the second constituency from where he contested.
The PM will retain the Varanasi seat and, as expected, vacate Vadodara seat in his hometown.
Even during campaigning, Modi had made it clear that he intended to make Varanasi his 'karm bhoomi'
