BJP to move to EC over Sonia's appeal to muslim voters

Accusing Congress of engaging in communal politics, the BJP today said that Sonia Gandhi must be asked by the Election Commission to explain her reported comments to Muslim leaders.
Mrs Gandhi, who is the Congress President, met yesterday with a delegation of Muslim leaders headed by the imam of the Jama Masjid mosque in Delhi, Syed Ahmed Bukhari. BJP leaders say that Mrs Gandhi asked him to ensure that "the secular vote" is not divided.
