In a desperate attempt to undo its wrong the United States of America finally looks into the immunity clause as stated in its own rulebook.

But they refuse retroactive immunity to the Indian diplomat. Their refusal will now effectively make Devyani a fugitive in perpetuity. Will India accept it?
