BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley today appealed to the youth of the country to choose between a dynastic leader and a leader chosen on the basis of merit. Speaking at the Culmination Convention of Manthan, a youth movement organized by Citizens for Accountable Government, an NGO, Jaitley said that the country's Prime Minister must be a political leader.

"Prime Ministership is not an employment, it's a public service," he said adding that "the Prime Minister must be decisive and ready to relinquish his position. But if the Prime Minister can be overruled by someone half his age, then he is certainly incapable of taking hard economic decisions".
