Behta-Hazipur Railway Station: Two people climb on train roof, electrocuted

Two people suffered serious burns at Behta-Hazipur railway station in Loni after they came in contact with a high tension wire while boarding the roof of the Shamli-Delhi EMU train. Sarfaraj (26), a resident of Loni, suffered 90% burns and had to be shifted to Delhi's GTB hospital while his friend Shamim escaped with minor injuries. Birender Yadav, SHO Loni Border police station, said, "Both victims were rushed to a private hospital but Sarfaraj's condition was critical. He was referred to GTB hospital where his condition remains critical."
