Mob thrashes journalists, students and teachers : Patiala house court

Chaotic scenes were witnessed at the Patiala House court complex on Monday as an unruly mob thrashed journalists and some JNU students and teachers who were present there for a hearing on arrested JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar.At least six people were injured in the chaos that reportedly erupted over a petty issue of seats in the courtroom. Sources said some lawyers objected to JNU teachers and students sitting in the front row and asked them to vacate the seats. The students and teachers refused. Infuriated, the lawyers began thrashing them.
