The Delhi Police have finalised their report on the Indian Premier League spot fixing case and are expected tol file a chargesheet today. Police have reportedly named underworld dons Dawood Ibrahim and Chotta Shakeel in the chargesheet saying they virtually controlled spot fixing in the cricket league.
According to sources, the three accused Rajasthan Royals players - S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan - have also been named in the chargesheet. The trio are likely to be framed under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), The other 29 accused in the case have been framed under MCOCA and IPC respectively.
