UPA meet on Food Security Bill today

NewsX: The UPA coordination committee will meet today to consider options to pass the food security bill that includes a special session of Parliament or an ordinance.
The decision to seek the views of allies over the bill was taken by the Congress core group that also discussed the Telangana issue and the recent killings of party leaders in Chhattisgarh.
It is expected that if the allies give the green signal, an all-party consultation can be held around June 7 to explore the possibility of a special session of Parliament for the food bill.
