China's Brahmaputra dams will hit India's water flow: Harish Rawat

Alarm bells have been set ringing in India after China's go-ahead to construction of 3 new hydropower dams on the Brahmaputra. Key water supply to farmland in India and Bangladesh stands threatened, besides the far bigger security and territorial integrity issue. The Central Govt admitted 'knowledge about China's plan to build three dams on Upper reaches of Brahmaputra river in Tibet region of China'. Harish Rawat, the Union Water Resources Minister spoke exclusively to NewsX. Here's what he told NewsX correspondent Jaskirat Singh Bawa.
