Delhi gangrape: Tight security after victim's death - NewsX

A large number of police personnel were deployed at Rajpath, the stretch connecting India Gate and Raisina Hill where largescale protests were witnessed last weekend, and roads leading to this was closed. The 23 year old Delhi braveheart, who waged a grim battle for life for 13 days after her brutal gangrape in Delhi on December 16th, has passed away in Singapore. Doctors at the Mount Elizabeth Hospital said she died peacefully at around 2:15 am Indian time. Late last night the doctors had announced that her vital organs had failed. And that she was sinking fast.
