Despite the police having arrested the main accused in the murder case of the Khap critic Abdul Hakim, the victim's pregnant wife, Mehawish has said that the family is facing relentless pressure from the suspects and the police to withdraw the case. Hakim was shot dead in his village in Bulandshahar on November 22nd. He had openly spoken against the Khap Panchayat in Aamir Khan's popular show 'Satyamev Jayate' a few months back. Hakim was shot dead by 5 men when he was going to the clinic to get medicines for his wife.
