UPA govt is scared of scams, CAG: Murli Manohar Joshi - NewsX

Former auditor RP Singh's claims have finally given the government a chance to go on the offensive on the 2G spectrum allocation controversy. After a meeting of the Congress core group today, Sonia Gandhi remarked that she thought the BJP has been "exposed". Murli Manohar Joshi has denied all charges made by the former auditor and said he'll quit it the charges stick. Speaking exclusively to NewsX blamed the government for not allowing the CAG to function smoothly. He termed the latest issue as a conspiracy by the govt.
