TMC's no-trust motion fizzles out, lack 50 MP's support - NewsX

Perhaps the only silver lining for the govt - Parliament made it clear it has no confidence in the mercurial West Bengal Chief Minister. Not a single MP from outside Mamata's own TMC came forward to back her No-Confidence motion against the Manmohan Singh Govt over the issue of FDI in retail. Mamata, who has 19 MPs, needed 50 for the vote to be accepted. The flop follows Mamata's desperate attempts to hold up the bill by offering to back even any motion the Left parties move against FDI in retail.
