Sehwag smashes ton to put India on top - NewsX

Virender Sehwag has hit a century on Day 1 of the 1st Test against England at Ahmedabad. Viru who had not hit a century in Tests for 2 years scored his ton midway through the lunch session. Sehwag resumed at lunch on 79 not out. There had been much debate going into this Test match on the poor form of Sehwag but he has proved the critics wrong with his 23rd Test ton in his 99 Test. Sehwag brought up his ton in 90 balls with a 4 of Swann.
