Pune: 2 arrested for abduction, murder of 5-year-old boy - NewsX

Pune police have taken into custody two persons, one of them a minor, for kidnapping a five-year old boy and killing him. According to police, the main accused Parminder Savarna Singh (19), a hotel management student who worked part-time at a shopping mall, wanted money to buy a motorbike, which was a probable motive behind the abduction. "Parminder, resident of Defence Security Corpse quarters, Ramnagar, kidnapped Shubh Bhupendra Raval last evening and afterwards strangulated him and dumped the body on the ARDE hill," said Ajay Kadam, Senior Police Inspector, Chatushringi police station. A minor youngster was Parminder's accomplice, SPI Kadam said.
