Delhi People buying water from tanks due to power cuts

Frequent power cuts and non-coordination among civic agencies have resulted in Gurgaon, an NCR city with over 2.5 million residents, reeling under an acute water and power crisis.
The areas facing frequent power breakdown and water crisis include DLF area, R.D. City, Sushant Lok, Sector-56, Kaman Sarai, Sikroli Village, Sector-10, Om Nagar and Baldev Nagar.
While the residents of the Millennium City are already sweating due to power outages extending over 12 hours daily, the situation is further worsened by the water mafia taking advantage of the water crisis in Gurgaon. The locals complained that the water mafia is charging anywhere between Rs 1,500 and Rs 2,000 for every water tanker.
