Landslide in J&K; all 400 trapped civilians rescued - NewsX

400 tourists trapped in Leh were rescued by J&K police, the tourists got trapped after a landslide in Khardungla. The landslides struck at Khardungla on the Leh-Nubra road on Friday morning, where around 150 vehicles with 400 civilians, including women and children, are trapped in multiple landslides in a stretch of 10 km. Police has joined rescue operations at Khardungla on Friday night to make way for the stranded vehicles. One side of the road has been opened to the traffic and many people have been rescued.
