WB: Woman raped in police station - NewsX

In the Hooghly district a 27-year-old woman has alleged that she was raped in a police station by the officer in charge. The victim said the Bhadreswar police station official called her on the pretext of answering queries about her husband who was given bail in a dacoit case. The victim says the official told her the police wouldn't pursue the case against her husband. Senior officials have ordered an inquiry into the case, while the woman was sent for medical examination.
