Over 400 activists of Jan Sangharsh Manch (JSM) were detained when they tried to take out a peace rally at Panch Kunwa area of the city in the wake of the 10th anniversary of the post-Godhra riots. Police said the activists had no permission to take out a rally in that area. Among those detained included senior lawyer Mukul Sinha, Amrish Patel, Samshad Pathan and several riot victims, they said, adding they all were released late in the evening.
