Battered infant battles for life in AIIMS, mother untraceable

In a case of appalling horror that has come to light, a two year old battered baby girl is now fighting for her life at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in the capital. The infant was brought to the hospital bearing extensive injury marks, including severe head trauma and fractured limbs, on the 18th of this month. She was admitted under false credentials by a teen, who initially claimed to be her mother.
