American surrogate mother abandons kid; cops intervene

Its a NewsX Exclusive of a two-month old baby being tangled in redtape. A dramatic protest staged by a harried mother. An American woman abandoned her two-month-old son at the Passport Office in Secunderabad. The passport authorities have been unable to issue a passport to the son, who was born through an Indian surrogate. And in an act of sheer desperation, the mother left the baby all by himself for over 3 hours. Upon noticing the abandoned baby, the passport authorities alerted the cops, who managed to trace the mother. And after being assured travel documents for her child at the earliest, the mother decided to take back the child.
