Anuj Bidve murder: Family seeks possession of body

It's an unending ordeal for the family of Anuj Bidve of Pune, who was shot dead near Manchester on 26th December. Bidve's body is still to be flown back from the UK. A decision on the release of his body is expected on Tuesday. Sources said the Indian consulate is liaison with the police, the family and the funeral company in London to finalize the arrangements. There is controversy brewing about the altering of Anuj's page on social networking site Facebook. It has been alleged that Facebook has changed the page's status from public to private to block the deluge of protest message. The family has appealed to Facebook to restore the status to respect the family's sentiments.
