Magnitude 7.0 earthquake hits Japan, no tsunami warning

A major 7.0 magnitude earthquake has hit Tokyo and surrounding areas on Sunday. Japan's Meteorological Agency said that the quake struck at 2:28pm (1058 IST). There was no danger of tsunami.
