Pervez Musharraf: Sent on transit remand

India News: Former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf was on Friday sent on two days transit remand shortly after he was arrested from his Chak Shahzad farmhouse and produced before the Judicial Magistrate Muhammad Abbas Shah's court.

Musharraf was arrested by the authorities a day after his bail extension plea was cancelled by the Islamabad High Court after which he fled from the court complex.
