Former Karnataka chief minister B S Yeddyurappa who quit the BJP at the end of November has launched his Karnataka Janata Party or the KJP. The launch rally took place in the Haveri in North Karnataka earlier today
Today's event was a show of strength for the Lingayat strongman who helped consolidate power for the BJP in the southern state.
21 BJP MLAs attended the rally in Haveri while Yedyurappa claimed the support of 10 ministers and 50 MLAs. He also dared the BJP to act against his supporters.
