Today is a day of the Congress of the European Democratic Party – the party playing important role in Europe’s and global politics.
You see clearly the current development in Europe and in the world.
I urge you to work on creating the real alternative to the voters responding to the challenges of current era. People wait for your answers to the basic questions – what will be the development of the United Europe, how to provide people trustful leadership.
These are the simple questions that have to be answered in 2019 in clear and decided manner.
Some may say, populists and demagogues are taking the advantage of our errors and mistakes. You need to confront them in order to be able to secure the peaceful and prosperous future.
I wish you wholeheartedly fruitful and effective meeting.
