President Moon hails Hyundai-Gwangju JV as an innovative way to create jobs

(Following up on that report...) President Moon Jae-in has welcomed the joint investment deal.
He pointed out what he called "Gwangju-type jobs," will be better quality jobs... and will take the nation closer to the goal of inclusivity.
"Gwangju-type jobs will mark a very important, historic turning point in our move toward a nation of innovative employment. They will prove that through social dialogue we can create more jobs while keeping wages at an adequate level."
The president highlighted work created by the deal will not only prompt job-seeking young adults to return to Gwangju but also manufacturing facilities that moved overseas to return home.
President Moon added the government will actively support other municipalities that want to benchmark models involving an agreement between the local government, labor, management and people.
