This is not "anti-gay" but it is a move to keep the Almighty State from lording over the people in unprecedented ways to destroy free speech and religious liberty and expression.

You are probably right. I think there was something by Young Turks about that. It said mormons were putting a lot of money on the fight against gay marriage. They are certainly a awesome, wholesome(?) bunch.

edmond4,
Let's get real! You say "This is not "anti-gay"". (you know, there is a thing called homophobia.) But I have never met a racist who admits he's one. Whatever he/she does or say, they will always deny that they're racist. "Oh, this is about this or that, but I'm not racist". One person in your video says she does not want gay people to have the same rights as they have. All the while she keeps smilling. Well, she can smile all she wants, she's still a homophobe.

MItch,

why do you feel that way? Right now, we can see the writing on the wall, if Prop 8 fails, government will begin to lord itself over everyone, resulting in the long run the compulsory indoctrination of children to subjects their parents object to. Such is not any system of "freedom" or tolerance. This is not "anti-gay" it is a case of keeping government from shutting down free speech and prosecuting and persecution religion.
