I wanted this record to feel like listening to an ipod on shuffle, the way most people listen to music these days. Every song has a different vocal approach, style, genre an feel. The focus is SOUL. I wanted to make an album that you can shop to, pack away groceries to, cook to, share food with, and enjoy food with in many different settings. When I'm making dishes for the restaurant I am focused on full flavors that relate to the audio experience. Unlike most chefs who focus on the different flavor triggers on the palate, I think this approach is what sets my food apart in many ways. No two songs were created the same way for this record."
