There has been a rumor swimming around that Director James Wan grabbed his inspiration for Aquaman from the fake premiere of Aquaman that happened in the popular television series Entourage. However, Wan has finally squashed the rumor. unsurprisingly. Wan tells The Wrap, "I’m sorry to say that to you Entourage fans out there. No, if anything, I probably was inspired more by Cameron’s Avatar than his Entourage.
