This film was inspired by a conversation I had with a young man I know. During this conversation, he expressed to me his belief that the rave culture was going to last forever and that weekends would be filled with parties and chemicals for the rest of his life. It could be boiled down to the ignorance of the young, but something about that conversation stuck in my mind and begged to be explored.

The Last of the Weekend Warriors follows the lives of two sisters, Cassandra and Beth and the culture in which they find themselves. They feel their lives are vastly different when the truth is that both are driven by an overlaying need for closeness and desire to escape lives they cannot run from.
