Trump Mentions His 'Very High Levels Of Intelligence' While Casting Doubt On Climate Report

President Trump on Tuesday again cast doubt on the US climate report.

President Trump indicated in an interview with the Washington Post that he doesn't see climate change as man-made.
"One of the problems that a lot of people like myself, we have very high levels of intelligence but we're not necessarily such believers," Trump is quoted as saying by the Post. "You look at our air and our water, and it's right now at a record clean."
His remarks were made in the context of an alarming climate report released by his own administration.
Trump has long been skeptical about climate warnings, tweeting as recently as last week: "Brutal and Extended Cold Blast could shatter ALL RECORDS - Whatever happened to Global Warming?"
The conclusions drawn in the 1,000-plus page report are dire, with the Introduction stating in its first sentence, "Earth's climate is now changing faster than at any point in the history of modern civilization, primarily as a result of human activities."
And the section ends by saying: "While Americans are responding in ways that can bolster resilience and improve livelihoods, neither global efforts to mitigate the causes of climate change nor regional efforts to adapt to the impacts currently approach the scales needed to avoid substantial damages to the U.S. economy, environment, and human health and well-being over the coming decades."
