Camp Fire named most destructive in California history

Thousands of structures, including an estimate of 6,453 homes, have been torched in what authorities are calling the most destructive fire in state history.

This video, taken on Thursday, November 8, shows Paradise Adventist Church in flames.

Among other burnt structures are an elementary school, a gas stations, a hospital, a hotel and numerous fast food restaurants.

As of Sunday afternoon the Butte County Sheriffs’ Office had confirmed 29 fatalities in the burned area, while 228 people are still considered missing and unaccounted for.
