There. You see how much better your arguement is when you provide some counter points with merit instead of insulting people? The videos were meant, whenever they were originally posted, to help people become smarter shoppers and to expose some of GameStop's BS. Granted, there ARE outdated facts in the video, but it serves it's purpose in my opinion...I can now look around for better alternatives then just going to Gamestop, and I haven't been to one in a while. If they have chaged, as you claim, then we've nothing to argue about...
Well you answer me this what do you consider rare cuz if your trading in a rare game at a local video game store pretty much any video game store you should be shot, because you could get way more money if you just sold them yourself hell gamestop even tells you that it's not worth it. To answer your question yes 2 were new, if you do research before you trade games like the gamestop website then you would no that they have promotional deals like trade 6 get 40% more plus with the edge card you get an extra 10% trade so thats 50% more credit than you get. They even will add on like 10 bucks on your trade. I'm juss sayin you guys are livin in the past if you do research before you do anything you will be so much better off.
Answer me this: were those six games you traded in new? Because Gamestop cuts the trade value in half to save them money and to MAKE more money. Now, finding out trade value wasn't exactly something Gamestop did when I last went there. I traded in a few Gamecube games, and barely had enough to buy ONE game.
Now, preordering games is fine, IF they are guaranteed to be there. During both the GTA IV & Halo 3 launches, Gamestop sold reserved copies of these games to others EXCEPT those who reserved.
Also, old games are meant to INCREASE in value, depending on rarity, something that Gamestop understands WHEN IT BENEFITS THEM. If they see an old game is in demand, they raise the price, whereas another competitor will still have it at a set value. On the flip side, however, if they see you trade in old games, you get practically NILL. Play N' Trade, at least, has better prices when it comes to the selling of old games. By the way, you lost 110 bucks by trading to them
Ok how do they rip people off. Just because you trade in old games and get nothing for it doesn't mean anything don't trade them in, sell them on ebay or something. Hell i traded in like six game just the past week and got over 250 dollars for just six, I mean granite 6 games at 60 bucks a piece is 360 bucks but still I got enough to preorder games and buy some without even spending my own money. The company does not rip you off your just too stupid to find out how much the game is gonna trade for before you trade it.
These are stupid ass videos what do u have against gamestop. Your a moron and i have now wasted 16 mins of my life watching this stupid shit. It goes to fast and i was looking for more info about working this is juss a waste.
