Bypolls in 3 Lok Sabha, 2 assembly seats underway in Karnataka

Polling has begun in three Lok Sabha and two assembly seats in Karnataka. Congress and JD (S) have fielded joint candidates in all the seats. JD (S) will be contesting Mandya & Shivamogga Lok Sabha seats & Ramanagara assembly constituency. Congress has put up candidates in Bellary Lok Sabha Seat & Jamakhandi assembly seat. The polling will be seen as a litmus test for the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition in the state. Both alliance partners have fielded joint candidates in all the seats.
