Trump Attacks Billionaire Democrat Tom Steyer On Twitter, Calls Him A 'Crazed And Stumbling Lunatic'

President Trump went after Tom Steyer on Twitter.
President Trump took to Twitter on Sunday and slammed billionaire activist Tom Steyer's after a CNN interview.
"Just watched Wacky Tom Steyer, who I have not seen in action before, be interviewed by @jaketapper. He comes off as a crazed & stumbling lunatic who should be running out of money pretty soon. As bad as their field is, if he is running for President, the Dems will eat him alive!" Trump tweeted.
According to Mediaite, the tweet comes as the president's "inflammatory rhetoric has been called into question following a series of pipe bombs sent to top Democrats and CNN" by the 56-year-old suspect, Cesar Sayoc, who's said to be a Trump supporter.
Steyer was apparently among the targets as the Sacramento Bee reports a suspicious package was intercepted at a mail facility in Burlingame, California.
Steyer has been an outspoken critic of Trump, even launching an impeachment effort.
In response to Trump's tweet attack on Sunday, he wrote that the president "just tweeted at me in his typical insulting style after watching @CNNsotu. It is unthinkable that in the midst of the horrible political violence our president would resort to name-calling instead of repairing the damage to the fabric of our country."
