King Felipe opens Spain’s Legal Year

Madrid, Sep 10 (EFE).- Spain’s King Felipe on Monday presided over the opening ceremony of the country’s Legal Year, which starts with the focus on the Catalan independence trial, expected to be held in autumn, and also on the conservative Popular Party leader, Pablo Casado, and the possibility that the Supreme Court assumes the investigation on his master's degree.
The opening ceremony took place in the Supreme Court’s Plenary Hall, where Felipe VI was accompanied by General Council of the Judiciary President Carlos Lesmes, State Attorney General María José Segarra, and high ranking law officials including Justice Minister Dolores Delgado.
