Amritsar Train Accident: Railways not responsible, says Railway Board Chairman

Indian Railway Board Chairman, Ashwani Lohani reacted on the Amritsar train accident. He said that the railway department is not responsible for the dreadful incident. He also mentioned that there wasn’t any speed restrictions there and both the level crossings were closed. He further said that the main line is not a place for people to gather and watch an event. In his interview, he clearly addressed the incident as an issue of trespassing and urged people to be more alert and avoid walking on tracks.
