This is a new version of my review on the GI Joe's massive heavily armed hovercraft; the Killer WHALE (Warrior Hovering Assault Landing Envoy) - although the "warrior" bit shoud really be "water". Commanded by Cutter (the GI Joe's first and only Coast Guardsman) this toy is wildly popular due to it being an awesome toy, having a timeless military design, and being shown in the comics and cartoons constantly. Unfortunately, due to the decision to make it more bouyant (it really floated!) the plastic was ultra light and was prone to breakages, especially the highly detailed rear fan vanes. It remains one of my top 10 favorite toys all these years later. It was made available again in the early 1990's for mail-away in a slightly darker green (possibly a Brazil, UK or Argentina overstock item?) very briefly.
