Roadwork near Cambridge, England revealed the remains of a woolly mammoth and a woolly rhino.  "The finds are at least 130,000 years old and were found by what was once an ancient river," according to Highways England.
Both creatures lived during the last ice age and went extinct about 10,000 years ago, reports the BBC.  
They were quite large, growing to roughly twelve-feet tall. "The remains are being conserved by our archaeology team and will be sent on to specialists in London for further study," Highways England added.
