National Assembly's audit continues for sixth day

We're now into day six of the National Assembly's audit of government ministries and agencies.
Up for debate today is the government's minimum wage hike,... as the labor committee inspects the Minimum Wage Commission.
The ruling party says.... the double-digit percentage increases for this year and the next... were necessary to raise the income of those in the low-income bracket,... while the opposition is calling for a slow down,... as well as different rates depending on the industry.
In the finance committee audit,... tempers are flaring as rival parties inspect the Korea Public Finance Information.
It's where opposition lawmaker Shim Jae-cheol had obtained and allegedly disclosed confidential government documents on the fiscal budget and other state statistics.
As Shim is currently under investigation for the case,... the ruling party said that he should be excluded from the inspection -- to which the main opposition party strongly objected.
