Winter has arrived in the southern plains

Snow continues to fall down in Salina, Kansas, which had up to two inches of snow by the night of Oct. 14. It is a beautiful scene of winter across the southern plains but also treacherous conditions of winter, as this cold weather is changing the rain to snow.
