You may luck out and spend $50 on a great pair of headphones. You also may end up with a piece of garbage you rather use as a door stop than listen to.
The good news is there's brands like Superlux offer great products at even better prices. We rated the Superlux HD-681 EVO a 5 star headphone not only because it can stand up against headphones 4x their price, but also because they ARE 1/4th the price.
There are most certainly better headphones out there for more money, thing is not everyone has $100's to spend on headphones, but STILL want to enjoy music the way it was meant to be, with true clarity.
