Delhi's air quality poor for 2nd consecutive day; 'dare to run' event to create awareness

After AIIMS director sounded an alarm bell highlighting the rising pollution woes in the capital, an event called dare to run has been organised tomorrow, to create awareness about. Since we have entered the month of October, remember this is the time when pollution in Delhi has been breaking records over the past two years. Moreover, despite tough directives from the national green tribunal to stop the practice, farmers of Punjab and Haryana have started burning paddy, hinting at the fact that 2018 is not going to be any different from the past two years. One of the main reasons of increasing pollution levels in Delhi has been the reckless crop burning by farmers in these two states.
