A woman launched into a verbally and physically abusive rant after refusing a passenger's request to sit in the empty seat next to her in Horseshoe Bay, Vancouver, last week on September 23.

A passenger on the bus recorded a woman becoming increasingly verbally and physically abusive after being asked if someone could sit in the seat next to her, then continuing to yell at the other passengers on the bus.

According to the filmer, the woman denied the request due to the person's race, and a passenger can be heard asking, "Why ethnicity has anything to do with this?"

The filmer further went on to state, "I felt so bad for the people she puts hands on. Sad thing was it was over a seat."
