Psychiatrist Suggests Trump Unconsciously Sees Mueller As A Representation Of His Father

Dr. Justin Frank, a psychiatrist and author of the new book, 'Trump on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President,' recently suggested that the president unconsciously sees special counsel Robert Mueller as a representation of his father and acts accordingly. Frank explained to The Hill that, in his early teens, Trump was sent to military school after getting in trouble "for being delinquent — for lying to his father, for sneaking into Manhattan and for buying switchblade knives."  "And I've realized over time that Mueller unconsciously represents his father...He's reenacting his teenage experience of having been impeached, as it were, when he was 13," Frank further said. "And now he's afraid of being thrown out of the White House, of being sent away from home again."  Trump has spent a significant amount of time trying to discredit Mueller, his team, and the Russia investigation at large.  "While my (our) poll numbers are good, with the Economy being the best ever, if it weren't for the Rigged Russian Witch Hunt, they would be 25 points higher!" the president said in a recent tweet. "Highly conflicted Bob Mueller & the 17 Angry Democrats are using this Phony issue to hurt us in the Midterms. No Collusion!"  Notably, that's just one of the dozens of his tweets that include the words, "Mueller," "rigged," and/or "Witch Hunt." With Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein's fate hanging in the balance, it's unknown what will ultimately come of the probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, the Trump campaign's possible involvement in that effort, and whether or not Trump has obstructed justice.
