Complete is to kill all the enemies eventually. At least they're nice and give you less enemies to defeat since you only have 3 people most of the time, none of which are good mages. Thank God for Hans sniping everything, Wein knowing cure, and Arieta coming with good magic techs.
tl;dr: Same battle as Mission 13 in the main path, just with less people.
